So, after weeks of think about it, I have decided to write my argumentive essay on how Facebook can add pressure to relationships. Yes I know everyone was at the edge of their seats wondering what I was going to write my paper on! However, while I was looking for different articles I found some really good..and sort of crazy stories.. I found one about a woman who actually had to DELETE her Facebook because it was causing so much drama between her and her husband. Do most people think that if Facebook is causing drama in your relationship maybe YOU TWO need to delete your RELATIONSHIP and NOT your Facebook? Or is it just me? Anyways, I found one story that I thought was sort of intresting. Its a New York Times article about a couple who are engaged and publicly fight on Facebook (which some how ties in with my last post) These two seem to go AT IT on Facebook which makes everyone (including their family) see how the relationship is going..and might I add the fighting Facebook couple is in the middle of planning their weeding. However, I think this couple finds it some what amusing that they publicly display their fights.. Take a look and see what you think

Wow, that is plain stupid! why would anyone want to let the world now every personal detail about an argument? I think some people need to go to Facebook Etiquette class and learn what and what not to put. Thats just annoying for other people to have to deal with and others might be entertained but still!
ReplyDeleteWow! This is really interesting. However, I do understand the males perspective when he says its a way to get both sides out there. On the other hand, Im not sure why anyone would want all of their friends to see their arguments. Maybe the couple isnt comfortable talking about their problems face to face. If thats the case im not sure they should be getting married. I wonder if the article will wake them up...
